Female students of a government school in Ras Al Khaimah filmed their female teacher during the class and posted the video on the Internet.
The management of the school seized a smartphone and an iPod from the students for filming and posting the videos on Snapchat, Arabic daily Al Khaleej reported on Monday.
The school management conducted a search operation among students and seized devices after a teacher filed a complaint that a couple of students had filmed her during the class and was forwarding the clip to other students.
The campaign led to seizure of a smartphone and an iPod, which contained videos of teachers and students while the class was on.
The teacher filed a police complaint against the students. A police officer visited the school and gave a lecture about internet crimes and the dangers of misusing smartphones.
