Wild dogs kill 35 sheep in Al Ain
Hungry wild dogs attacked a barn in the cattle market in the eastern oasis town of Al Ain and killed 35 sheep worth nearly Dh30,000.
The stray dogs raided the market after it was closed on Saturday night as the sheep and goats were prepared for sale on the next day.
“An investigation is under way, after which measures will be taken to prevent the repetition of such incidents,” the market director Bashar Al Tamimi said, quoted by Emirat Alyoum Arabic language daily.
