Woman robbed by 3; prostitution charge

Two Palestinians has been accused of robbing a woman in her apartment, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.

The woman was also been charged with prostitution.
 
On April 14, 25-year-old Iranian, MQ, was in a nightclub in a hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road where she met MF, MJ, MH, all Palestinian national.
 
"At around 3am, we left the club and headed to my apartment in Al Muteena. MF paid me Dh2,500 and entertained them one after another," testified the woman.
 
At around 5.30am she received a call from a client who asked her to visit him.

"MF wanted to stay back and wait for me in my apartment, he was willing to spend more money on me. I was fine with the idea and locked the door from outside and left with the other two men.

"When I returned home the front door was forced open and Dh314,000, plus 180,000 Iraqi dinars were stolen from my safe and MF was gone," testified MQ.
 
She reported the theft to the police.

After checking the crime scene, police found out that several attempts were made to break the door form inside, but he had help from outside.

Police arrested MF, 26, student and MJ, 25, coordinator and the victim recognised them during identification parade.

Police also found that the third accused MH, left the country to Indonesian on the same date of the crime.

Criminal Evidences verified MF's DNA on the safe box and fingerprints in the flat.

Other fingerprints in the flat remained unidentified.

In addition to theft, the men are accused of consensual sex out of wedlock.

The court will reconvene on August 28.
