Saudi inspectors arrest two at airport

Saudi customs inspectors arrested two foreign passengers arriving in the Gulf Kingdom with nearly 1.8kg of heroin and cocaine hidden in their bellies.

The inspectors at the airport in the Western Red Sea port of Jeddah decided to have the two passengers scanned after suspecting they were carrying illegal items.

‘Sabq’ newspaper said the scans showed one passenger had around 1.kg of cocaine inside his stomach while the other was hiding about 700gms of heroin inside capsules. It did not identify the two passengers.
