3 wives ally against mean husband

Three Arab wives cast away their rifts and joined hands to file a complaint against their Emirati husband in Ras Al Khaimah for failing to provide enough support for his home, a newspaper said on Tuesday.

“It was one of the most exciting and famous cases handled by Ras Al Khaimah courts last year,” said Jassim Mekki, director of the government’s family guidance section in the northern emirate.

He said the three wives complained that their husband does not provide enough financial support for his home, where the three wives and all his children live. He said the section had tried to contact the husband many times but that he was still outside the UAE.

“We believe the husband has made a mistake in marrying three wives because he does not have enough money to support three families…this is the main cause of his family problems now,” he told Emarat Alyoum daily.

He said the section has taken the necessary measures against that husband but referring the case to a special court.

“This court will take the proper sentence against the husband for failing to support his wives and children.”
