5-year-old stabs 3-year-old sister

A five-year-old Saudi boy stabbed his 3-year-old sister in the neck and chest to ape a worker he had just seen at an abattoir in his area, but the girl survived.

The child and his sister had just returned home with their father from the abattoir in the capital Riyadh when he brought a knife from the kitchen and stabbed his sister.

The sister was rushed to hospital where doctors raced against time to save her life after she suffered from severe bleeding in the neck and chest.

“I took them to the abattoir to have my sheep slaughtered for a guest. My son was watching the worker as he slaughtered the sheep. When we were back home, we were shocked to see my son hurrying to the kitchen to bring a knife and stab his sister,” their father Nayef Al Anzi said, quoted by Sabq newspaper.
