Boy killed while playing with rope swing

A nine-year-old Saudi boy was killed after his neck was caught in a rope while he was playing with a swing at his relatives’ house in the Gulf Kingdom.

Relatives said they found they found the boy hanging by the swing in a tent adjoining their house in the northeastern town of Hafr Al Batin, adding that they called the police.

Newspapers quoted police as saying forensic tests showed the boy was accidentally killed and there was no criminal act.
