Cop forced me to dress like woman to fulfill his urges

KUWAIT CITY: A 20-year-old youth Adel, who claims to have been wrongly accused of cross-dressing, told Al Rai daily that was born male but due to a hormonal imbalance, he has some feminine qualities.

Adel, who recently came out of prison after serving a six-month term, claims that he didn’t actually cross-dress and that a policeman forced him to dress like a woman to fulfill his own urges.

Adel told the paper that the policeman, a lieutenant, stopped him at a checkpoint in Hawalli area and while checking his driver’s licence, asked him why his voice was so soft. When he told the reason, the lieutenant reportedly called his friends and soon seven officers arrived for a ‘closer inspection.’

The officers allegedly then checked his car and found an underwear belonging to his mother in the vehicle.

He said they inspected the garment in full public view and took him to the investigations department.

Adel claimed that an officer took him to a compound in Salmiya and asked him to take off his clothes and wear women’s garments.

He said when he refused to do so, the officer got angry and referred him to the Criminal Investigation Department.

Maid, lover caught making out in sponsor’s house

Securitymen arrested a housemaid and her lover for committing immoral acts inside the house of the maid’s Kuwaiti sponsor at an undisclosed location.  

According to the sponsor, he heard strange noise from the maid’s room, so he opened it to his surprise he found the maid engaged in immoral acts with a man. The sponsor quickly called police and the lovers were referred to the concerned security department for the necessary legal action.

Woman harassed

Police are looking for a youth who allegedly harassed a Kuwaiti woman, reports Al-Rai daily.

The woman lodged a complaint at Ali Sabah Al-Salem Police Station, saying the youth followed her until she reached her home. She provided details of the suspect’s car to police.

Bedoun, woman burn to death in tent fire

A Bedoun youth and an unidentified woman were burnt to death when a tent caught fire in Bar Al-Salmi Area.

Firefighters, paramedics and securitymen rushed to the location after the Operations Room received information on the tragic incident. The fire was declared under control within a short span of time but the rescuers could no longer do anything to save the two victims who were already charred to death. Their bodies were referred to Forensics.

The cause of fire was not immediately known and investigations have started in this regard.
