Cop held for seducing men in Saudi

Saudi Arabia’s feared religious authorities arrested a police man on charges of having affairs with other men he had seduced through social networks.

Members of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice arrested the 37-year-old cop red handed in an obscene act with another man at a furnished apartment he had rented in the capital Riyadh, Ajel daily said.

“Police found that he had two Twitter accounts, one of which he used to seduce men into his apartment…they also found many pictures of naked men on his mobile phone,” it said.


13-year-old boy raped at knife-point

A 13-year-old Kuwaiti boy was raped at knife point by a man at a mosque toilet in the oil-rich Gulf emirate, triggering a massive police manhunt for the rapist.

Newspapers said the boy was passing near the mosque when a man wielding a knife forced him into the toilet adjoining the place.

Passers-by attracted by the boy’s scream rushed to the toilet but the man fled, the papers said, adding that descriptions showed he is Kuwaiti.
