Hunters in Kuwait used the poisonous smoke of their car exhaust to kill a fox they had captured alive, an act described by a newspaper as cruel and non-human.
A brief YouTube film showed the fox was still alive and struggling as he was tied by its tail to the exhaust of a four-wheel vehicle used by the hunters in the Kuwaiti desert.
The driver then pressed hard on the petrol pedal to shoot a large amount of carbon dioxide straight into the mouth and nostrils of the little animal, killing it instantly.
“This is an irresponsible behavior by irresponsible young men….such acts are very cruel and non-human,” the Kuwaiti Arabic language daily Alanba said.
