Dead baby found in Saudi public toilet
Visitors to a public park in Saudi Arabia stumbled across a dead infant stuffed inside a box in the park’s toilet, a newspaper said on Wednesday.
Police said they believed the newborn boy had been dumped in the toilet by his mother following an illegitimate relationship.
“Police said the baby would be examined to determine the cause of death and identify his parents,” Sabq daily said in a report from the western Saudi town of Makkah.
Pakistani held in Saudi for seducing men
Saudi Arabia’s feared religious police arrested a Pakistan man on charges of seducing men at his tailoring shop in the Gulf Kingdom.
Newspapers said members of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice raided the man’s shop in the southern town of Kalwa after reports from some customers that he was offering his body for them.
“They raided his shop and caught the tailor red handed,” Sabq newspaper said, quoting commission sources.
