Factory caught storing nuts in cattle bins
Saudi authorities shut down a nuts factory after it was caught by health inspectors storing its products in fodder bins used to feed cattle.
Inspectors also found that the factory has no licence to practice this business after confiscating more than 450 bags of contaminated nuts.
“Some of the bags and bills found by the inspectors carried known trademarks with the aim of marketing its products in the area,” Sabq Arabic language daily said in a report from the northern Saudi town of Hafr Al Batin.
