Grocer’s hand cut off in cleaver attack
A masked man armed with a cleaver parked his car outside a shop in Saudi Arabia, went into a shop and headed straight to the grocer before using his weapon to cut the man’s hand off, a newspaper reported on Thursday.
The unknown man then fled the area in his car which did not have plates as passers-by phoned the police and an ambulance, Sada Arabic language daily said.
It quoted police as saying they had mounted a manhunt for the assailant and that they were waited for the victim to get better to investigate the incident.
The paper did not identify the victim but quoted doctors in the western town of Taif as saying his hand had been restored that he was in a stable condition.
