Housemaid sacked for proposing to marry employer's kin

A Saudi family decided to deport an Asian housemaid just after she asked to marry a member of the family, saying the maid is not normal.

The Saudi housewife was having her dinner at home when the maid entered the room and sounded very upset. 

"When the woman asked what the problem was, the maid said she wants to marry her brother who she had seen at a family event,” Kabar daily said. 

"The woman told her husband, who immediately decided to send the maid back to her home country on the grounds she is not normal,” the paper added, without mentioning where that family lives.
