Iranian claims to be prophet at Kuwait air base

An Iranian man who was seized by Kuwaiti troops near an airbase late night told them in an incomprehensible language that he is the “awaited prophet.”

Troops at Ali Al Salim air base arrested the man after he was caught by security cameras sauntering just outside the base before mid night.

When they asked him what he was doing there at this time, he answered in a mixed Arabic-Persian language.

“They only could understand that he was claiming to be the awaited prophet,” the Kuwaiti Arabic language daily Al Anba said.

It said troops took the 22-year-old man to the police station, where the officer decided to send him to hospital for psychiatric examination.
