Jilted man stabs ex-girlfriend, her lover

Colombo: A jilted young man stabbed his ex-girlfriend and her new lover in Sri Lanka’s Passara area.

According to a report in ‘Lanka Hot News’, the 22-year-old woman was with her new boyfriend, 22, in a botanical garden, when her ex-lover attacked them with a knife.

The men began fighting, when the gardeners intervened and informed police A bottle of poison was confiscated from the attacker.

The couple, meanwhile, is admitted to hospital and receiving treatment.

Investigation reveal the girl broke-up with the attacker as her family was opposed to their relationship.
