Maid ends life at Saudi employer's home

An Ethiopian housemaid committed suicide by hanging herself at her employer’s house in the Gulf Kingdom, a newspaper reported on Tuesday.

The Saudi family called the police in the central town of Wadi Al Dawasir after finding the maid hanging by a rope tied to the ceiling in her room.

‘Sabq’ newspaper quoted a police source as saying the maid had apparently committed a suicide and investigation is under way to determine her motives.
