Saudi Arabia’s feared religious police arrested a man who has offered his body for men through his Twitter page, newspapers said on Thursday.
They said the unnamed man had lured at least 96,000 viewers to his page before he was arrested during a party in the Gulf Kingdom.
Members of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice seized the man with the help of a computer expert who hacked his Twitter account and tracked his address in the Gulf Kingdom.
“He was the most famous Twitter man to be arrested in Saudi Arabia on such charges…he used to go out with other men from not less than SR5,000 (Dh4,900),” Sada daily said, adding that the Commission had tried to track him down for weeks.
“After obtaining his personal information, Commission members arrested him at a party attended by 21 other boys.”
