Mum caught smuggling drugs to jailed son

Kuwaiti police arrested a local woman on charges of smuggling drugs to her son in prison, where he is spending a jail term following a fight.

The police officer in charge of the prison had noticed that the inmate was not normal when he inspected the central prison in Kuwait City.

“He asked the guards about the frequent visitors to that inmate and they told him that it was his mother,” the Arabic language daily Alwatan said.

“When the mother came for her next visit, the officer was waiting…he asked her to empty the contents of her bag but she refused…he then empties her bag and found pieces of hashish, heroin and drug needs…he ordered the arrest of the woman.”
