Saudi police rescue two kids lost in the desert
Saudi desert rangers found two children nearly two hours after they went missing in the heart of the Gulf Kingdom's deadly desert while on a safari trip with their father, a newspaper reported on Wednesday.
The father had told his children, aged 8 and 12 years, to stay in the car as he went in a long chase of a big bird in the desert outside the northern town of Hafr Al Batin, Kabar Arabic language daily said.
"After a long chase, the father wanted to return to his car but lost his way back….he managed to reach a police patrol outside the desert and told them about this children,” the paper said.
"After a search of nearly two hours by many police cars, the two children and the father’s car were found…they were in a good condition.”
