Saudi suspected of murdering wife in Bahrain
Bahraini authorities are searching for a Saudi man suspected of murdering his Saudi wife before setting the house on fire to mislead investigators.
Police said they found the body of Mirvat Ibrahim, 38, after putting out the fire in the house in northern Bahrain and that they were questioning two housemaids working for the couple, according to Saudi newspapers.
Quoting police sources, Alsaudeh Arabic language daily said the husband had fled Bahrain and could have headed back for Saudi Arabia.
“Bahraini police believe the incident is a criminal act and are in touch with the Saudi embassy in Manama to arrest the killer,” it said.
