Two Egyptian teen age boys raped a five-year-old girl then threw her off the 11th floor after she started to scream, newspapers reported on Tuesday.
A criminal court in the eastern Egyptian town of Bur Saeed on Monday gave the two a reduced sentence of 15 and 20 years in prison on the grounds they are minors.
Newspapers in the most populous Arab country said crime took place in November, when the two abducted the girl, Zainah, to their apartment and took turns in raping her.
When she started to scream, they carried her and hurled her through the window.
The papers identified the two as Mahmoud Mohammed and Ala Hasaballah and a picture of the victim was published in the Saudi daily Sada.
