Woman held for vice 'serving tourism'
An Egyptian woman arrested for involvement in vice in a resort town in the Arab country told police she only wanted to boost tourism in Egypt.
Police seized the woman, in her 20s, after she was reported by several hotels in Sharm El-Sheikh, a resort town in the Southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula in Eastern Egypt.
Local newspapers said the unnamed woman was hunting foreign tourists at hotels for 800 pounds (Dh380) per hour.
“She said that she came from Cairo and only wanted to stimulate tourism in her country,” a police source said, quoted by Egyptian newspapers.
