'Ajel' newspaper said the management of the hospital in the Southern Jazan province opened an investigation into the case.

An Ethiopian man suffering from tuberculosis committed a suicide by hanging himself inside a packed war in hospital in Saudi Arabia.

Nurses checking patients in the morning found the man hanging by his clothes tied to the metal rail separating him from other patients.

'Ajel' newspaper said the management of the hospital in the Southern Jazan province opened an investigation into the case.

“This disease normally causes depression to patients, who should be under continuous supervision by the medical team. The hospital is investigating how this patient ended his life without being noticed,” the paper said.
