Man commits suicide after losing Pakistan-Bangladesh match bet
An avid cricket fan took his own life after he lost the bet and lost his entire month's salary after Pakistan lost its match against Bangladesh in the recently concluded Asia Cup Twenty20 championship.
A 50-year-old man from Lahore hung himself in his office to death after losing Rs30,000 in a bet after Pakistan's shock defeat, reports Omnifeed.
The man left for his office on the fateful day after he failed to hand over his salary to his wife. She went in search of him after he did not return home that night. Tragically, she found him hanging from the ceiling fan in his office the next day.
He left behind his wife and four children.
