Man 'rapes five women' after chats on dating website

A 50-year-old man has allegedly raped five women and has sexually assaulted another two women after becoming friends with them online.

The man is said to have met all the women through a website Match.com, according to the proceedings in a UK court, reports Mirror newspaper.

During the court hearing the victim's lawyer also told the judge that the man and one of his victims met up after chatting online and then decided to spend the night together and have consensual sex. The following morning, the man raped the woman even after she kept screaming 'No, no, no'.

There was evidence that the man forced himself on the woman as he had sent her text messages that read: "When you were crying out for me to stop I couldn't, I'm so mad at myself..." and another saying "I was disgusted with myself for hurting you. I am so sorry. I am too rough for you...".

The man has denied all charges and the trial is likely to last two weeks.
