Teen kills self after 'being raped by dad'

A 13-year-old Chinese girl took her own life after allegedly being raped by her own father.

The schoolgirl from Changzi County, north China’s Shanxi province, fell from the 36th floor of an apartment block last October, the People’s Daily Online reports.

The 13-year-old’s despair was revealed in a series on note she left behind before taking the most unfortunate step, according to a ‘DailyMail’ report.

‘It’s hard to avoid disappointment, but at least I don’t want you to lose hope.’ – one of her notes read.

‘Death is another start…’ read another.

According to the DailyMail report, the teen had revealed to her aunt that her father raped her twice and the aunt informed police.

The young girl took her life in October last year and her dad was arrested a few weeks later.
