Wife raped 300 times by husband while asleep

A woman who was raped repeatedly by her British husband even while she slept has gone public with her horrific story. She told ITV's This Morning programme that she woke up one morning to find her husband molesting her.

She was still in a drowsy state and just starting to break out of the fuzzy state when she realised that her husband had been touch her inappropriately while she was asleep.

She pretended to be asleep just to understand what was happening. But she found that her husband stopped and she escaped from the bedroom quickly.

The woman did not know how to react to the morning's incident and revealed it all to her friend and neighbour who encouraged her to approach the police.

Police officials in Leicestershire investigated into the issue and searched her home and found several hundred videos on her husband's computer. They were all video clips of her husband in an intimate state with her and in some of those 316 videos, he was even seen using regular household items to abuse her sexually, reports News.com.au.

The woman believes that she could not have slept through that kind of abuse unless she was drugged by him.

The husband pleaded guilty to 26 counts of rape - between January 2011 and October 2013 - and was sentenced to 12 years of imprisonment.
