Youngster thrashes and tries to rape 95-year-old

Published

A youngster who had been released early from a jail term for attempted rape and walked into a care home and murdered a 95-year-old woman after trying to molest her, was once again imprisoned on Thursday. This time he got a life term.

Twenty-one-year-old Scott Sorby was let free despite a psychiatrist’s warning that he posed a ‘very significant and ongoing’ risk to women, reported Mail Online.

The attacker battered her so badly that she pleaded with medics to "let her die" while being transported to hospital, where she died in less than two months.

He will have to cool his heels at least for 24 years before being considered for parole.

He allegedly broke into a cabin where the old woman was working, hit her, pinned her down and tried to rape her as she screamed for help, the paper reported.
