Hamdan bin Mohammed announces Dubai-it Award to Fix Dessert Chocolatier

Dubai-based homegrown business recognised for creating Dubai Chocolate, a product that has gained global popularity and is now sold in more than 100 airports worldwide.

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, announced that the Dubai It Award in the Business Projects category has been awarded to Fix Dessert, which introduced a new product to the world called Dubai Chocolate.

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed said in a post on his X account: "We announce that the Dubai-it Award for Projects in the Business Category goes to FIX Dessert, which introduced ‘Dubai Chocolate’ to the world. Sarah Hamouda and Yezen Alani transformed a home-based business in Dubai into a global success. Sales of Dubai-style chocolate surged by 1,234% in one year, and today, these products are sold in markets around the world and at more than 100 airports."
