11% rise in UAE bank branches

UAE bank branches grew by more than 11 per cent while the electronic banking service units of foreign banks rose by almost 22 per cent and ATMs increased by 48 per cent last year, official Central Bank data shows.

UAE banks opened 68 new branches in the past 13 months.
