Qatar banks may get financial brokerage licence

Qatar plans to open licensing of financial brokerage to the country's national banks, the bourse said in a statement yesterday citing Finance and Economy Minister Youssef Kamal.

Kamal said the Qatari banks are keen to carry out brokerage activities.
