DIFC, Rothschild discuss ways to improve relations

Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Deputy Ruler and President of Dubai International Financial Centre, received yesterday at his office in DIFC, Baron David de Rothschild, Chairman of London-based NM Rothschild & Sons.

During the meeting, there was discussion of co-operation between DIFC and the international firm, which is specialised in the provision of financial and strategic consulting services, supply of liquidity and collection of capitals through global financial markets.

David said the firm is happy to be working with Dubai Government as an advisor of financial services, helping it establishing the DIFC fund and contributing to the restructuring of Dubai World's debts.
