Muscat Finance Co said on Sunday its board was recommending a plan to merge with National Finance Co in a deal that would give Muscat Finance a 57.83 per cent stake in the new firm. Muscat Finance did not say in a statement on the Oman bourse website when shareholders would meet to vote on the proposal. (Reuters)
