Air Show 2009 is of 'global importance'

Dubai Air Show will this year consolidate its position as one of the world's major events in the aviation calendar, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation and President of Emirates airline and head of the show's higher committee, has said. His comments came during a meeting he chaired to review the latest developments of Dubai Air Show 2009, which will be held in November.

He was briefed on preparations being made to make the event successful and provide best services for exhibitors and visitors.
