GAC appoints Knowles as MD in Abu Dhabi

The GAC Group has named Ronnie Knowles as Managing Director of its operations in Abu Dhabi. He replaces Mark Delaney who now oversees GAC Thailand.

Ronnie is responsible for the effective and profitable management of National Shipping Gulf Agency Company (NSGAC). He brings to his new role more than 30 years of operational and management experience in the industry. He has been active in all aspects of project management, business SWOT analysis and strategic planning at a corporate level and has managed multiple 3PL supply chain strategies around the globe.

Prior to this posting, Ronnie spearheaded the development of GAC Pakistan's business and operational activities for three years. "His expertise and previous exposure to the Gulf – which includes an instrumental role as Project Manager for Doha Asian Games in 2006 – will be invaluable in driving NSGAC's business forward," said a statement.
