Nissan has revised its forecast for its financial year through March. (SUPPLIED)
Japanese carmaker Nissan says it swung into the black during the October-December quarter, and now projects a profit for the full financial year.
Nissan said yesterday it had a ¥44.97 billion (Dh1.84bn) net profit in its third quarter, versus a ¥83.16bn loss a year earlier.
The company also revised its forecast for its financial year through March, and now projects a profit of ¥35bn versus its previous forecast for a ¥40bn loss, quoting its strong performance in the third quarter.
