Rezidor to open fourth property in Oman

Rezidor Group, which is to open four hotels worldwide this year, said yesterday that its fourth property in Oman would be the Hotel Missoni, a new genre of lifestyle hotels.

This will be the third Hotel Missoni in the group's portfolio. The other two properties in Kuwait and in Edinburgh are scheduled to open later this year.

Rezidor currently operates the Radisson SAS Muscat, and is scheduled to open a second Radisson property in Sohar. The firm is also opening its first Park Inn hotel in Muscat next month.

The Hotel Missoni Jebel Sifah with 250 rooms and 50 apartments and villas, is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2012.
