Al Ain contract goes to Halcrow

Halcrow has been appointed by Al Ain Municipality to improve traffic movement in the private schools area of Al Ain, according to a statement from the company.

Halcrow will provide design and supervision services to relieve traffic congestion around the city's numerous private schools, located in the same area.

This will involve the construction of new roads, a new wadi crossing, four new signalised junctions and provision of services such as storm water drainage.

The signing ceremony was held recently at the municipality buildings in Al Ain in the presence of Dr Matar Mohammad Saeed Al Nuaimi, General Manager, Al Ain Municipality; Nasser Al Aryani, Head of Projects, Design Section; Sami Al Qazzaz, Halcrow's Regional Director for Abu Dhabi and senior municipal staff. This is Halcrow's first project with Al Ain Municipality.

Al Qazzaz said, " This project will significantly improve traffic circulation in the area and we are committed to delivering a solution of the highest quality. We look forward to developing a long and productive relationship with Al Ain Municipality."
