Belconn's structured cabling solutions has signed an agreement to provide voice and high-speed data connectivity to Princess Tower building in Dubai.

Construction work on the world's tallest all-residential tower is fast progressing with more than 45 floors already complete. The 414 metres tall tower being built at the Dubai Marina will comprise six basement floors, a ground floor and 100 additional floors housing luxurious apartments. The construction work is expected to be completed this year.

According to a company statement, voice and high-speed data cabling at Princess Tower will be fully Belconn branded under the supervision of telecoms provider du. "Belconn's category six sapphire solution was selected among the competitors thanks to its high quality and ease of installation, and as a consequence of the outstanding reputation of Belconn," it added.

When completed, Princess Tower will be the world's tallest full residential building, superseding Eureka Tower in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

The project is being developed by Tameer Holding.
