Construction in Ireland sees continuous fall

Irish construction activity contracted for 21 straight months in February as the building of homes, stores and offices continued to decline, according to an index from Ulster Bank.

The Purchasing Managers' Index rose to 28.2 in February from 25.7 in January, according to the bank's monthly report.

A reading below 50 level indicates contraction.
