Sheikh Omar bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chief of Private Department of His Highness Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, inaugurated Buildmart – a Dh75 million retail complex – in Ras Al Khaimah yesterday.

The store offers more than 15,000 products of Danube Building Materials and targets interior designers, consultants and homeowners.

Located along Zaid Road in RAK, the building has been developed on a 150,000sqft plot across the Cove Rotana Resort.

The complex comprises a 20,000sqft showroom, a 40,000sqft warehousing section and an open area for additional shops and parking.

Rizwan Sajan, Chairman of Danube, said: "The launch of Buildmart underlines Danube's commitment to addressing the building material needs of our customers – from the most basic to the most complex, while ensuring easy and convenient access to our products."

Meanwhile, Danube has made a decision to invest in a new factory in Al Quoz, which spreads across 30,000sqft.
