First phase of Diamond Views project complete

Diamond Developers has completed the first phase of its Diamond Views project, the first of its kind to be completed in Jumeirah Village South.

The developer now has seven projects in hand with 1,528 units being delivered to investors, it said.

The four stages in this project will see the completion of 1,000 apartments and 150 villas.

Faris Saeed, General Manager of Diamond Developers, said: "The delivery of Diamond Views on schedule reflects the commitment of the company towards its investors. It is also a strong reflection of our determination to fulfill our contractual obligations while maintaining transparency and clarity in all we do.

"These are the principles that we have employed since the first day of our work in the Dubai real estate market."

The project is located close to Emirates Road and Mall of the Emirates. "When we launched Diamond Views in June 2007, we were determined to adopt a robust attitude in resisting the constraints that were affecting the wider development sector. Issues such as the increase in implementation prices and the cost of construction materials and labour were addressed very effectively.

"As a result we have been able to deliver phase one of this project precisely on time," he said.

"Despite these pressures we were determined not to compromise on the quality of what we do. Indeed, we took the decision to reduce our profit margin rather than reduce the build standards we have set for ourselves. Our investors are of paramount importance to us."
