Indian cement producers' sale up by 10% in March

MUMBAI Grasim Industries Ltd, India Cements Ltd and other producers of cement in the country sold a combined 18.06 million metric tonnes of the building material last month, 10 per cent more than a year earlier. Production in March was 18.04 million tonnes, up from 16.39 million tonnes a year ago, according to the Cement Manufacturers Association.
