Labtec, a laboratory furniture manufacturer, yesterday said it is seeking global partnership opportunities.
The firm also unveiled its new Slim Line products at Arablab 2010, the exhibition for the region's analytical industry, which ends today at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. Labtec is a subsidiary of M'Sharie, the private equity arm of Dubai Investments.
Besides the new furniture line, the company is showcasing laboratory furniture for schools, drug cabinets for hospitals, fume cupboards and extraction systems from global furniture solutions providers such as Klepp, LD Didactics, Orcelik and H2O Concepts.
Oguen Metin, General Manager of Labtec, said: "Over the past two to three years, there has been a marked upturn in activities in the medical, educational and research sector in the Middle East, leading to a renewed demand for high-quality laboratory furniture solutions.
"Labtec is looking to tap into this demand by consistently introducing new product lines designed to meet varied requirements. We are actively seeking partnership opportunities with leading technology and solutions providers."
