Construction on Marina 23 is on schedule, said its developers Hircon International yesterday and 37 floors are completed.
The developer plans to position the skyscraper to be one of the Middle East's tallest residential buildings.
Hircon International is a joint venture between ETA Star Properties and Hiranandani Developers.
"Construction work is progressing as per schedule. Neither the work, nor the bookings have been hampered by the global credit crunch, said Darshan Hiranandani, Director of Hircon International. "We are overwhelmed by the response and attention this landmark has generated, well before its scheduled launch.
Marina 23 once completed will be known as 90 levels of luxury. Hircon is proud to develop one of the tallest and most luxurious residential buildings in the world. The mega structure will have 57 swimming pools, a world record for the number of swimming pools in a single building.
Marina 23, located at the entrance of Dubai Marina, near Dubai Media and Internet cities, offers complete view of The Palm Jumeriah, Burj Al Arab and Sheikh Zayed Road. It is due for completion by this year-end.
