Construction on the Dh800 million Mina Al Fajer Resort in Fujairah is progressing well, said Hussein Fakih, CEO at Mina Al Fajer Real Estate yesterday. The first unit deliveries are on-schedule for the fourth quarter of 2009, he said.
"While many projects similar in scope were forced to slow down, construction on our site has not broken pace and is progressing smoothly," said Fakih. "The marina is completed, and progress on the apartments as well as the solarium and mountain villas has been swift." The apartment blocks have reached three floors and the resort's villas will be completed shortly, said the developer.
Meanwhile, construction has started on the five-star hotel, which will be managed by Fairmont Hotels and is the next priority, said the developer.
