The Infrastructure and Environment Committee of the Dubai Executive Council stressed the importance of carrying out the second phase of the green buildings project yesterday.
The meeting was chaired by Saeed Mohammed Matar Al Tayer, head of the committee, elected member of the Administrative Council and CEO of Dewa and discussed different issues related to Dubai.
It also reviewed updates on the green building project and emphasised the importance of starting the second phase on the scheduled time.
The panel reviewed the strategic plan of Civil Defence and discussed the key topics related to the latter in relation to infrastructure and the application of best practices. It also reviewed work progress of the Service Co-ordination Committee and asked them to focus on problem-solving issues related to strategic services projects in the coming phase.
