Saraya Arabtech in deal for Nikki Beach Resort

Saraya Aqaba Real Estate Development Company and Arabtech Jardaneh (ATJ) said yesterday they have signed a consultancy agreement for the design and construction supervision services of Nikki Beach Resort and Spa at Saraya Aqaba.

The agreement is the result of the partnership between Saraya Aqaba and Nikki Beach Hotels and Resorts that was announced in May 2008.

A luxurious mixed-use destination, Saraya Aqaba would consist of 755 units housing grand villas, villas, townhouses, apartments, lofts, beach club duplexes, five-star and boutique hotels.

Hakam Bitar, Managing Director of the Buildings Department for ATJ said: "We are in the design phase and construction should commence shortly."

Saraya Aqaba is the flagship project of Saraya Holdings that was established in 2006. Located on the Gulf of Aqaba, the property covers a total area of 634,000 square metres.
