Smart Heights structure ready

Damac Properties has completed constructing the structure of Smart Heights office tower at Tecom, said the developer yesterday.

The roof of the 21-storey Smart Heights is now in progress and plastering, pipework and the floors are already being fitted inside with much of the finishing up to 16-floor already done.

On the exterior, cladding is under way to give the building its blue glass and aluminium façade.

Plans for the electricity substation are expected to be approved soon.

The development is one of two projects that Damac Properties has at Tecom – with its Executive Heights building already completed last year.

Peter Riddoch, Chief Executive, Damac Properties, said: "The completion of Smart Heights later this year would be well timed to coincide with the opening of the Metro train link.

"With the roof nearing completion at Smart Heights, we can really concentrate on the internal finishes,' he added.

The building will have a fully automated business lounge and board room.
